Super Bear - 2002

Letter from Super Bear:

19 November 2001

Dear Diary,

Well I’ve travelled down to Whyalla now and I have been in Myall class at Whyalla Special School.  Boy do these children do lots of stuff including all the normal school work.  Let’s see . .  on Wednesday they took me to town I bought some postcards, went to the lookout at Hummock Hill (beautiful).

Then on Thursday I went to RDA (Riding for the Disabled) and I rode a horse and got a badge.  I went home with Steffani and she gave me a Whyalla District Scout Badge.  On Friday I went shopping in the New Bus and bought some chips to share with the class.  I rode in the shopping trolley and went to see HMAS Whyalla and they gave me a tourist pack.  On Monday I helped Myall cook Mexican Burgers and wedges.  Did you know they only have 24 children at the school?  All the children are really looking after me,

SB

As Christmas drew near, Super Bear enjoyed the company of the students of Whyalla Special School.

Super Bear made some really good friends that he will miss.

Has Super Bear learnt to swim?

Super Bear loved to relax after all that travelling he has been doing.

Super Bear learnt a lot about Bears on the computer.
